Questions we hear a lot
The questions people ask us most often, answered the way we would answer them on the phone.
We are based at 1013 Gahanna Parkway in Columbus and work across Columbus, New Albany and the surrounding communities, including Dublin, Westerville, Worthington, Gahanna and Pickerington.
Start an estimate request in the category you need: design build, maintenance, or snow and ice. For commercial maintenance, send your current scope of work or RFP, a map of the property marking the areas that need service, and your annual budget if you have one. We will not start any service or charge you without presenting a detailed proposal and talking the pricing options through with you first.
New seeded lawns may need water three to four times a day, using a fine spray so the seed is not washed away, and the soil has to stay moist for all of it to germinate. For trees and shrubs, water once a week from mid-April to mid-May, twice a week from mid-May to mid-September, then back to once a week until the end of October. Water in the morning or evening rather than the afternoon. More trees and plants are killed by too much water than too little, so if the soil is already muddy, leave it.
Your warranty period for trees and shrubs is set out in the email that came with your final invoice, and any special terms agreed as part of your project package are honored. Perennials do not carry a warranty. Submit a replacement request and you will get a confirmation email with the date it was received, which determines when the replacement goes in.
Twice a year, in spring and fall, when conditions give a new planting the best chance. Requests received between 15 March and 1 June are installed between 1 April and 15 June. Requests received between 2 June and 30 October are installed between 21 September and 15 November.
Yes. Commercial maintenance contracts carry a minimum two-year service agreement. Snow and ice management runs on our own trucks and crews, with no subcontractors.
